Homemade Tortillas

This tortillas recipe is extremely easy and it deserves a try.


  • 400 g flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 200 ml lukewarm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

We mix the flour with the baking powder, lukewarm water, salt and oil and we form a dough.

Let it rest covered for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, we move the dough to a clean flat surface and we cut it in 5-6 pieces, it depends on how big you want your tortillas to be.

We flatten each piece very thin, so you can almost see through.

Heat a grill skillet very well and cook all the flatten dough pieces.

After you finished each piece, cover it with a clean towel to stay warm.

The next day they’ll harden a little, but you can warm them in the oven or microwave.
