Cherry and Nectarines Clafoutis

This Cherry and Nectarines Clafoutis is an easy and delicious french dessert. It’s so easy that everyone can make it. Even a child.

It’s extremely easy to do, unlike other french recipes. I really recommend you to try it, you will love it.

The traditional clafoutis is made with cherries, but out there, there are a lot of other variations and fruits.

I made clafoutis twice until now, and my first time was only with cherries, it was delicious and today I wanted to try it with cherries and nectarines because I have some nectarines in my kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of butter + 1 tablespoon of sugar to dust the pan
  • 4 nectarines
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 100 g of sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 300 g of cherries
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 100 g of flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Wash and slice the nectarines.

Move them to a bowl, add sugar and lemon juice, stir them together and set the bowl aside.

Butter a pan and then dust it with 1 tablespoon of sugar until fully coated.

In a big bowl add the eggs, 100 of sugar and the vanilla extract and stir to combine.

Add the milk and stir again and then, add the flour and salt and take a whisk and stir until smooth.

Pour the fruit into the pan, first the cherries and then the nectarines and gently pour the egg mixture on top.

Bake the clafoutis for 40-45 minutes.

Let it cool completely and then dust with confectioner’s sugar. Enjoy.
