Chocolate Oatmeal

I noticed that I have to change up a bit my oatmeal because if I don’t do that, I will get bored of it very quickly and I will not eat it anymore for a few months. I don’t eat oatmeal every day, just a few times a week and I like it very much. ๐Ÿ™‚

For this one, I added some raw cacao powder to make it chocolatey, and it was really delicious. Of course, you can add whatever you have and you like, make it your way. This recipe is just for inspiration, you go and make it how you really like it.

Ingredients:

  • 75 g of oats + 100 ml of milk of your choice
  • one teaspoon of agave syrup
  • one tablespoon of raw cacao powder
  • one handful of frozen blueberries

Toppings:

  • one tablespoon of chia seeds
  • one teaspoon of coconut shavings
  • one teaspoon of goji berries
  • 10 peeled pistachios
  • one teaspoon of cacao nibs

In a small saucepan add the oats, milk, agave syrup, the cacao powder, and the blueberries. You don’t need to thaw them, you can add them frozen to the pan, it will thaw with the heat. Cook the oats for 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly.

Pour the mixture into a serving bowl and arrange the toppings on top, make a cup of coffee and enjoy. ๐Ÿ™‚
