My husband brought home some beautiful big lemons and we used them in tea most of the time, but I didn’t want to throw the skin, knowing they’re organic lemons.

I saved the skin from two lemons and I let it dry at room temperature because I wanted to make something I had in mind for some time.

Ingredients:

  • 2 organic lemons
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 2 organic lemons
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar

For desserts, zest the lemon and put it in a jar. Add sugar, stir and put the jar in the fridge and use the zest whenever you need it. It’s really good in pancakes.

For meat and vegetables, let the lemon skin dry completely at room temperature. Blend it very well in a coffee grinder and then mix the zest with salt. Keep the jar in the kitchen cupboard.
