Lamb’s Lettuce Salad

Lamb’s Lettuce Salad is the perfect salad to eat. It’s crunchy, sweet and so delicious. And if you top it with delicious veggies, you’ve got yourself a lunch.

We love salads very much. 🙂 We really do, and we eat them very often.

It’s not necessarily a health thing, it’s just because we like salads.


And we don’t start eating salads in January to get rid of the weight from the holidays, simply because, we don’t actually gain weight during the holidays.

People tend to eat very much on holidays and that’s why they gain weight, we don’t do that.

We eat the normal way, how we eat every day, we don’t cook a million dishes, we cook almost the dishes we eat on a regular basis, we don’t like how some people act, they become gluttonous on holidays and they waste a lot of food.

This salad is really delicious and very easy to whip up. You can eat it at lunch or dinner, that’s your call.

I really like this salad, lamb’s lettuce, it’s really tasty and it’s by far, my favorite.

We eat spinach as a base for our salads, arugula, kale or mixed greens, but this one is the tastiest.

Ingredients:

  • lamb’s lettuce salad
  • one handful of pomegranate seeds
  • 10 cherry tomatoes, cut into 4
  • 30 g of cheese of your choice, cut into little cubes
  • 10 olives
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, sliced
  • a dressing

We like this dressing:

  • a plain yogurt
  • the juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • dried chili
  • parsley
  • dill
  • some sunflower seeds
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • salt and pepper
  • a drizzle of olive oil

In a big bowl add your salad and the rest of the ingredients, except the dressing.

You can make this salad ahead of time or you can take it to work, but keep the salad and the dressing separately, and mix them together just before serving.

 

Lamb’s Lettuce Salad

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes

Total Time: 18 minutes

Ingredients:

lamb’s lettuce salad
one handful of pomegranate seeds
10 cherry tomatoes, cut into 4
30 g of cheese of your choice, cut into little cubes
10 olives
1 hard boiled egg, sliced
Dressing:
a plain yogurt
the juice of 1/2 a lemon
dried chili
parsley
dill
some sunflower seeds
1 clove of garlic, crushed
salt and pepper
a drizzle of olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a big bowl add your salad and the rest of the ingredients, except the dressing.
  2. You can make this salad ahead of time or you can take it to work, but keep the salad and the dressing separately, and mix them together just before serving.
  3. Mix all the ingredients for the dressing in a small bowl and serve with the salad.
