Balsamic Vinegar Reduction
This Balsamic Vinegar Reduction is perfect on salads, especially Caprese Salad. But it’s really good on some toast of appetizers too.
Once I tasted balsamic vinegar reduction at a restaurant, over some garlic bread, it was so delicious so I wanted to make it at home.
It’s a quick and simple process and all you need is balsamic vinegar. After that, you can serve on a salad, toast, or a crostini. It will taste really good.
After you cook it, the balsamic vinegar will have a mild kinda sweet taste and it amazing in salads, I love it very much. 馃檪
Ingredients:
- 300 ml of balsamic vinegar
It’s so easy to make and you will get such a delicious dressing or sauce for your salads. Try it, I’m sure you will like it.
Pour the vinegar into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. After that, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it cook for 20 minutes, or until reduced half of it. Remember that when it cools down, it will thicken some more, so don’t let it be too thick.
If you want, you can add some sugar to be sweeter or season it however you like. I like this reduction simple and I prefer to season the salad or toast.
Pour the reduction into a small jar with a lid when it’s still hot because it will be harder when it cools down and let it cool down without the lid. After that, put the lid on and place the jar in the fridge.
The only thing I don’t like about this is that my kitchen it smells like I’ve washed it with vinegar, even though I opened the window and the cooker hood was on. Make sure you open the windows.
Happy eating a lot of salads:)
