Roasted Broccoli with Tzatziki Sauce
This Roasted Broccoli with Tzatziki Sauce is a perfect side dish for your weeknight dinner, it’s delicious and so easy to make.
I love everything roasted, it tastes so good and delicious. Broccoli tastes amazing roasted and cauliflower as well, but unfortunately, I can’t eat as much broccoli and cauliflower as I want, because it bloats me very much.
Broccoli, kale, and cabbage contain raffinose, a sugar that remains undigested in your stomach, produces gas and makes you feel bloated and gassy.
If you steam them, it will be easier to digest and you can enjoy them more often.
It’s very easy to make roasted broccoli, in just a few steps and then, you have some delicious broccoli to enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 1 small head of broccoli
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder
- chili flakes (optional)
- herbs de Provence, recipe here.
- olive oil
Tzatziki Sauce:
- 150 g of greek yogurt
- 1 grated cucumber
- salt and pepper
- dill and parsley
- garlic powder or minced garlic
First, break the broccoli into florets, add them to a colander and wash them well. Arrange every broccoli floret to a baking sheet on a single layer. Sprinkle just a touch of olive oil and then season well every floret.
Add the baking sheet to the oven and bake the broccoli at 200*C for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
Meanwhile, make the sauce. Grate the cucumber and squeeze it in your hands to get rid of the excess water, then, add it to a bowl.
Add the rest of the ingredients, stir everything together and enjoy.
