Chia Seed Energy Balls

Chia seed energy balls

These Chia Seed Energy Balls are great when you are in a rush and you don’t have time to eat, or you just want a healthy snack, that’s delicious and good for you.

I encourage you to make this delicious snack, you will totally love it. I keep these snacks for a few days in the fridge and the rest I freeze it. Every time I want something sweet and delicious, or my husband wants a snack for work, I put some in a small container and we enjoy these.

You can put them in a container and to take them with you everywhere you go and need a quick and healthy snack.

Ingredients.

  • 300 g of pitted dates
  • 100 g of almonds
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 4 dried apricots

In a small food processor add the almonds and blend until you reach the desired consistency. I like mine to have some texture. Now add the rest of the ingredients and blend until it forms a dough consistency.

Take out small scoops and form little balls until you finish the dough. You can put them in the fridge and enjoy throughout the week or you can freeze them. I like to make a bigger batch and freeze them to always have on hand energy balls.

Do you like energy balls? What’s your favorite?

I cannot wait for figs to ripen so that I can make some delicious energy balls. Instead of dates, I want to use figs. And of course, I will freeze a big batch, to have prepared whenever I need some delicious snacks. I have a lot of delicious plans for my kitchen and blog. 馃檪
