5-minute Golden Latte

This 5-minute Golden Latte is a cozy hot drink, that’s caffeine-free, healthy and super delicious. It has a lot of great health benefits.

Turmeric is a really great thing to have on hand, to use it in many meals, as a supplement or in this cozy drink.

Turmeric has been known for a very long time, but we are just realizing about its health benefits for our body.

  • it has antioxidant effects
  • can prevent cancer
  • can help with the symptoms of arthritis
  • can prevent depression

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml of almond milk (or any other milk you like)
  • a pinch of fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 g of fresh turmeric, peeled
  • 3 g of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1/4 of a teaspoon of cinnamon or 2 g of cinnamon stick

Making this golden milk is super easy. Just throw all the ingredients into a blender and blend until everything is combined.

Because I added fresh turmeric, the color of the latte is not so bright, but I used whole ingredients.

So that’s fine with me. 🙂

Pour the latte into a small pot and warm it up. When it’s warm enough, pour it into a glass and enjoy.

Be sure to use a straw when you drink this turmeric latte because it stains your teeth. You can add more or less of each ingredient, to make it how you like it.

Don’t leave out the pepper because it will help you benefit from all of the turmeric goodness. Otherwise, it just goes through your body.

  • 2 g of fresh turmeric, peeled
  • 3 g of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1/4 of a teaspoon of cinnamon or 2 g of cinnamon stick
