Chocolate Pomegranate Bark
Making homemade chocolate is easy, and this Pomegranate Seed Chocolate Bark is proof of that. I love having chocolate in the freezer for when the cravings attack.
I’m not a person that likes sweets so much, I’m more of a salty lover kinda person. But from time to time I do enjoy something sweet. A few weeks ago I made raspberries covered with chocolate. We kept them in the freezer for when we crave something sweet and they were amazing. They tasted so good, they were sweet and sour. My mouth is filled with saliva just thinking about those. I think that those little chocolates are the best sweet thing I ate in my entire life. And I’m not even kidding. Of course putting aside nasty sweet things, like cakes. They were healthier and great for a little treat.
I will add them to the blog soon.
For these ones, I made chocolate bark and I sprinkled a whole lot of pomegranate seeds. And it looks amazing and it’s super delicious too.
When you make something like this, and you melt chocolate, be sure to use a high-quality chocolate and with a minimum of 70% cacao. This way, the treat is healthier and you get all the benefits from it.
For this treat we will need only 2 ingredients:
- pomegranate seeds
- 200 g of dark chocolate chips
Melt the chocolate in a microwave or on bain-marie until it’s fully melted. If you melt it in a microwave, take the bowl out every 30 seconds to stir. Let the chocolate cool for 5 minutes.
Line a parchment paper on a cutting board and carefully pour the chocolate. With a rubber spatula, spread it in an even layer on the paper. But don’t spread it too thin. And don’t worry to be perfect. That’s the beauty of this kind of «recipes.» You just go with the flow and something really pretty but imperfect comes out.

When you spread the chocolate, sprinkle a lot of pomegranate seeds on top. With your hand, push the seeds a little bit into the chocolate.

Add the cutting board with the chocolate bark in the freezer to set. Leave it in the freezer for at least 2 hours. When hardened, break into pieces. Don’t worry about how they look. They will taste delicious either way. Add the chocolate pieces into a Tupperware and keep them in the fridge or freezer for your future cravings.
