Everything Seasoning Pigs in a Blanket
These Everything Seasoning Pigs in a Blanket are perfect for movie nights if you need to feed a crowd. They’re super delicious!
I’m pretty sure that if you make these, your husband or boyfriend will love them. I know mine did. I made two batches in one week and he ate them all. And the good thing about these is that they’re quick to make and require just a few ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 12 mini hot dogs
- sriracha
- mustard
- everything but the bagel seasoning
- oil or water to brush the puff pastry
If you have frozen puff pastry, let it thaw at room temperature for 30 minutes. Many people say to thaw the puff pastry in the fridge overnight but I think that’s unnecessary. 30 minutes is enough.
Roll it out and cut the pastry in 4 vertically and in 3 horizontally, so that you have 12 rectangles in total. Spread half a teaspoon of mustard on some, and harissa on others. If you don’t like harissa, you can spread just mustard on all of them.

Pierce the hot dogs in 2-3 places with a knife and place them on the rectangles. Roll the puff pastry until the hot dogs are covered in the «blanket».
Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet. Brush with a bit of oil, water or beaten egg, so that the seeds will stick.

If you don’t have everything but the bagel seasoning, like my case, make your own, to use for this recipe and many more.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds
- 2 tablespoons of dried onion
- two tablespoons of dried garlic
- 1 teaspoon of flaky salt (I used Maldon)
- 1 teaspoon of crushed black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
Mix all the ingredients in a jar and keep the jar sealed in a kitchen cupboard. You can use it for many great recipes.

Sprinkle the seasoning on top of the puff pastry and bake in the preheated oven at 200*C for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy. Serve warm or at room temperature with ketchup, mustard or sriracha sauce. They’re great either way.
