Lactation Boosting Overnight Oats
Are you a breastfeeding mom? Try this Lactation Boosting Overnight Oats to help with your milk production. It’s easy to make and delicious!
Unfortunately, I can’t maintain my milk supply and I have to give to my daughter formula as well. So I’m trying things I can do to increase my milk production hoping that I will give her only breastmilk.
I know that some of the ingredients for this oatmeal help with the milk production and I’m trying everything I can.
Other things that boost your lactation are:
- water (being hydrated)-drink a glass of water every time you breastfeed. This way you won’t forget to drink water throughout the day.
- spinach
- garlic
- carrots
- ginger
These are just a few, but there are many more.
Stress is the number one factor that dries our milk, so relax. I know it’s easier said than done, but you can do it.
I try everything in my power to have enough milk for my baby, but if it’s not possible, I give her both and don’t stress myself or feel guilty because it’s not our fault.
Ingredients:
- oats
- raisins
- almond milk
- raw almonds, chopped
- flaxseeds
- cacao nibs
- dates, chopped
- cinnamon
- strawberries (or any kind of fruit)
I didn’t add any measurements because you can add as much or as little of every ingredient as you want.

Add the ingredients for the overnight oatmeal into a bowl, stir to combine and refrigerate it until the next day.

This way you don’t have to worry about what you will be having for breakfast, especially if you’re busy with a newborn.
I make this oatmeal a few times a week and I love it. Now with the hot weather, I don’t like cooked oatmeal, so this one is perfect.
Quick, easy and delicious!

I really hope you will see the results you need. Make sure to drink lots of water to stay hydrated.

These are great – and so much healthier than lactation cookies with all that sugar! Plus so many nutrients for tired moms 🙂
