Chocolate Berries Madeleines
These Chocolate Berries Madeleines are seriously the best I’ve made. And they’re so pretty as well. Almost too pretty to eat. Almost. The original recipe is from this website, it’s not my recipe. The only thing I added was 1 tablespoon of pure cacao and the berries. And it’s seriously to die for. They’re that good. 😀 I really recommend you to give these madeleines a try. And madeleines in general. Because they’re delicious and easy to make. They make the perfect little treat for coffee and tea. Amy, from fixfeastflair.com, used Guittard Hot Chocolate, but I didn’t have that so I used what I did have, Cadbury Fairtrade instantánea 1kg…

Do you like fried chicken? Or baked, of course, if you don’t want to fry it. You can easily make fried chicken at home if you prepare this Corn Flakes Mixture ahead of time. On weekends we like to watch a tv show and eat a pizza (always homemade), fries and fried or baked chicken, or chicken nuggets. We are not going to a fast-food, we make these things at home. If you have these ingredients on hand, you can easily make a batch of baked chicken nuggets. Ingredients: 150 g of corn flakes, crushed 150 g of breadcrumbs 1 teaspoon of paprika 1/2 a teaspoon of pepper 1 teaspoon…

How To: Homemade Vanilla Sugar and Extract
Making homemade vanilla sugar and extract is cheaper than any vanilla flavorings you can buy at the supermarket, and you need only 2 INGREDIENTS for each recipe. People always say that homemade is always better and they’re soo right. When you make things like cakes, cookies or even food, you add to the recipe just a few and the right ingredients, but when you buy already processed foods, they’re full of preservatives and nasty stuff. I encourage you to try and make some of the things at home, they’re easy to make and most of the time, they’re CHEAPER. How about that?! You simply have to get up and do it.…

Small-Batch Fig and Vanilla Jam
Today I made a delicious Small-Batch Fig and Vanilla Jam that is very easy to make and so incredibly tasty. Autumn is here, AGAIN. (sad face) I am not really a fan of cold weather and layers of clothes, I love summer very much, even though I get tired of the hot weather. I prefer summer every day instead of a gloomy and cool day. But summer will come again, and we can enjoy what autumn brings to us, gorgeous landscapes and comfort food. For me, autumn automatically means canning. I love canning very much, it relaxes me and makes me happy to make so many goodies for winter. Ingredients:…

Mini Focaccia Bread with Rosemary, Tomato and Olives
Today I tried something different, I wanted to make Mini Focaccia Bread with Rosemary, Tomato, and Olives. To have a delicious snack before eating when I’m hungry and I’m not at home. Ever since I tried Focaccia for the first time, I fell in love with it. It was so delicious, so tasty that I would eat it all day. I made it for the first time 2 years ago and I nailed it because I truly loved eating it. Any day, I would give a piece of cake for a slice of Focaccia. If you didn’t know, I’m more of a savory person, I’m not into sweets, so I like…

Easy Grapes Compote Recipe
This is an Easy Grapes Compote Recipe, that’s delicious and perfect for winter. The sugar measurement depends on how sweet is the fruit you are using. I’m not so much into autumn because I know that winter is right around the corner, but I love it because you eat seasonal, cheap and delicious fruits and veggies. And also, I like fall, because it’s the official canning season, so I like that. 🙂 For me canning it’s like a treatment, I love it, it’s relaxing. I ate only once grapes compote and I loved it. I had some beautiful grapes in the kitchen, so I wanted to put them to good…

Bean Salad
We ate this Summer a lot of delicious and really quick salads. Some were with quinoa, with spinach or lamb’s lettuce, or beans. I made this Bean Salad with things I had in the house and it came out really delicious. We had 2 servings each one. Sometimes when I have a lot of food in the house, I make recipes with what I have, to be sure I won’t waste anything and it works. We throw out almost no food, and that’s great. Did you know that people throw out one-third of the food they buy? That’s so crazy and so so sad. We are very aware of the situation…
